The other flowers are in the garden, with a lovely sunny morning but cold, I love how bright the yellow is in the rather wintry garden.
and another splash of yellow is the overladen lemon tree. The netting behind is there to keep the possums out of the veggie garden.

Dorothy, I agree - that border fabric is perfect! Those baskets are charming.
Your winter must not be real cold yet if you still have flowers blooming and veggies growing. Or are your winters normally pretty mild?
That fabric looks gorgeous with the baskets, love it.

Dorothy, your baskets are looking really nice. Love the toile the colors all play together so well.
Your garden is looking good for winter, and your baskets too.

These are just beautiful - I love those baskets - and your garden is looking great too!
Great baskets and loving that Jo Morton toile bird print really sets them off.
I grew up in southern California but haven't lived there for years. The only thing I really miss is my old lemon tree! It freezes here so they only grow in green houses.
I love your flower blocks. As similar as they all are, they're also all different. Nice!
Your basket blocks are coming along beautifully and I love how they blend with that great border fabric.
Your basket quilt is really looking fantastic Dorothy!!
The lemon tree is very cool. I wish I could grow that in my climate.
What a beauty, you must be so pleased that it's coming along!
It will be another beauty! Greetings
Lida
Your basket quilt is coming together beautifully!
You have daffodils in flower already!!!
I see that your basket block fabrics are inspired by that first big border fabric. What a nice print to work with.
P.S. Your Mary Manakee quilt makes me want to make one every time I see it.
I love how the quilt looks. The flowers are an awesome addition. The lemon tree is so gorgeous. Thank you for sharing.
