I finished machine quilting my wallhanging with the houses. I try and do the smaller quilts I make and leave my large quilts to the professionals. I'm really pleased how the straight line quilting looks and will use it again.
I put mine together differently. I wanted a smaller size than the pattern showed.

Really lovely. Your quilting is a perfect finish!
Wonderful, wonderful. I am a big fan of house quilts.
Also, the quilt in your header caught my attention. A very good one. I like the combo of embroidery and piecing.
Your work is so beautiful and inspiring.

A beautiful quilt Dorothy and I like the way you have constructed it and the quilting is very effective. Take care.
I love how it came out and I do enjoy reducing sizes for wall quilts. I wish they would make patterns with a black and white of the whole quilt, so I could enlarge them myself.

It's lovely!
It looks fantastic Dorothy! Congratulations on the finish.
Wonderful Dorothy, it seems as though you quilted that quite fast, I'd still be basting.
The straight-line quilting is particularly good in that quilt - good decision! and so easy with the walking foot isn't it (assuming you meant machine quilting)?

Wow Dorothy, It is beautiful! The staright line quilting really suits the quilt.
Love your new header quilt too.
Your version of this quilt is beautiful. The quilting is gorgeous. I also like the vertical lines. Mine is still a WIP and it will be for the whole year I guess, as I plan to hand quilt it... when all all blocks will be pieced and appliquéed... wish me luck!
Is there a pattern for this? I love it!
This was a BOM with the Quiltmania magazine 2012.
You will need their 6 magazines for that year to make it.
