Christmas is over for another year so it is time for a different quilt in the header. As it's almost the New Year, I thought my new quilt would suit the occasion.
We spent Christmas with my DIL's family and had a lovely meal and great company. Melbourne suffered a tremendous storm in the afternoon with golf ball size hailstones and my car is peppered with dents. Others had windows smashed and homes flooded so I got off lightly.
Wishing all who visit my blog a Happy, Healthy and Safe New Year.

Wishing the same to you, Dorothy! Glad you came off with only the car damage, and nothing worse.
I started drooling as soon as your header picture came up on the computer screen. A beauty. I imagine it took you a good while to make that quilt.
We have never had hail stones that big, luckily.
We are getting gusty winds and some rain, no snow yet.

So sorry for the damage to your car, but happy that you did not suffer further harm! I saw it in the news here in Holland and thought of you!
Wish you better weather for the coming week, greetings
Lida
Sorry to read about your car!!! I wish you a Happy New Year filled with beautiful quilts ;-)
That hailstormn was a doozey, shame about the car.
Love, love the n4ew header, it looks fabulous and a very happy healthy New Year to you too.
we saw the hail on the weather network it looked damaging. we have a van that is dimpled from a couple of years ago
I do love that header quilt. I have the pattern for the middle in an old Quilt Mania mag. I have this on my lovely long list of quilts to do
Your Auntie Green quilt is amazing!! I cna't belive how fast you got the top appliqued.
Sorry about the damage from the storm to your car. Our world weather has been crazy lately.
Love the new header quilt. Auntie Green is one of my favorites but I will have to content myself with my version from the Quilt Mania magazine.
You did such a beautiful job on that quilt - I just can't stop looking at it! Happy New Year to you, too.
Just love the colour choice in your header quilt. May you have another productive year.
Lesley
Auntie Green is on my "to do" list. I hope mine is even half as beautiful as yours when I get around to it
