Happy Easter, everyone.
I was away yesterday and today to the seaside town of Queenscliff for the opening of my daughter's Art exhibition. If you would like to see her work, here is a link to her blog and website.Nicola
I have also been sewing my applique and I have almost finished the top half,
and have the second half prepared and ready to go. I leave apaper trail around the house as the freezer paper falls off everytime I work on it. If I really need it to show me the curve required I just iron it back on. The next question will be whither I continue or be happy with a new wallhanging.
coming along beautiful, love it

I am impressed. You are doing a lovely job. I am really behind I am sure but do plan to finish. My days are full as I am sure yours are as well. I use a lot of freezer myself. It is my applique template choice and I use it as my quilting line. I cut out a quilting image such as a feathered heart, iron to quilt background, and quilt around cutting away the feathers as I go. No marks on the fabric. I will be checking in on your progress. Oh, by the way I cut my pattern down by thirty percent. Nadine
ReplyDeleteOh my, your work is flawless and so stunning. I'm in awe. You most certainly should be proud of your daughter, she's talented like her Mom.
