Then I started a new quilt and this is the centre block for Mrs Millar's Journey quilt designed by Liz Willing. The large leaves and flowers overlap onto the surrounding blocks and will be sewn down when the blocks are attached.
A couple of visitors to the garden. They were quite happy to sit there and devour our tomatoes straight off the plants.
Last Friday I went to Ballan with a couple of friends and saw this quilt show. It had been put on by Millrose . Patchwork shop, cafe and accommodation.

Needless to say we also did a bit of shopping while we were there.
I did finish my Grandson's cot quilt and forgot to take a photo before I gave it to him.I'll take one when it gets hung up.

Mrs Millar's Journey looks like it will be a beautiful quilt. I'm really cross with myself for missing the Japanese exhibition so a big thank you for sharing these pics - love the one with all of the tea cups.

Your cherry trees block is beautiful. That is the very block I am working on right now. I am loving the needle turn hand applique method.
What a lovely center block! Such soft pretty colors :0) To confess I'm a bit jealous you are working on the BTCC blocks - I would love to make that one as well. Your block with all its berries is beautiful - so many quilts - so little time!!
